This is a hard post to write for a people-pleaser like me. I have a gazillion things I have thought of to post over the upcoming holidays. I have ideas for new endeavors ahead, but God is asking me to be still, to be quiet and seek Him first.
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21
I will be taking a blogging break here at Denise In Bloom for November and December, as I need to focus on my home, my family and embrace the holidays with simplicity.
I have many ideas and plans for the new year, but I don’t want to proceed with any plans until I have sought the Master Planner. I need to hear from Him and see what His purposes are for my online writing and ministry.
I appreciate your grace as I take this time off.
There also won’t be any Life In Bloom link ups for the next two months. I so enjoy the sweet sister community we have each week, and will miss seeing you here.
I am longing to come back refreshed and renewed in my purposes and visions in 2013.
I will be praying for you as well. For my kind readers who visit me here, and encourage me, that you will have a blessed holiday season. I pray you find sweet times with family and loved ones, for a refreshing in your heart as well.
See you in the 2013!

Denise, I will greatly miss your posts, but I respect you for your obedience to the Father. You are in my prayers during the two month break.

Well, you will definitely be missed, but I understand personally the need to become refreshed in Him. I myself after my 31 Day series plan to take some time off. Your readers will still be here when you get back. Enjoye your time in your faith and family.

I pray that you are refreshed and revitalized. I will miss your link-up each week, and thank you for doing it!
While visiting Miss Mustard Seed, I saw your comment about living in a 110 year old house and decided to visit. You’re a wise woman to heed God’s whisper; He will bless you because “obedience is better than sacrifice”.
